Founder and Architectural Designer.
Caleb Lau has been working in the fields of structural engineering and architectural design for the past 23 years. His passion for architectural design led him to set up his own business, Zion Architecture in 2013 after a number of years working in structural design/draughting roles with structural consulting firms, Holmes Consulting Group and Structex. His strong understanding of structural and architectural materials and how they fit together along with great working relationships with engineers and contractors enhance his ability to provide quality solutions for his clients. Caleb has been involved in over 100 small to large scale residential housing projects including Master Builder Award winning houses 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2022. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from University of Canterbury and a National Diploma in Architectural Technology (NDAT) from Ara Institute of Canterbury. In 2012 Caleb became a Licensed Building Practitioner (Design Category) and is a proud member of Architectural Designers New Zealand Incorporated (ADNZ).
